Wow! I had been thinking about how to discibe that look in Hunters eyes. YOU NAILED IT!! JMO
They've all almost certainly got PTSD, but his is by far the worst. And to think he still thought to keep the girls from seeing it! I don't think I'd have had such presence of mind at his age and in those circumstances.

The brand new Idaho Four: An American Tragedy book (released at midnight) is choppy but loaded with information and it paints a fuller picture. It is available on Audible and moves quickly. JMOO

He successfully maintained the crime scene and took care of his good friends at the same time. A real Hero in this story that doesn't get enough positive attention, but I find he doesn't seem to want any. Humble and so considerate. IMO

Anyone catch the Chapins on the Today Show?

Well, the Defense was allowed to provide barber services or one of them was really handy with a pair of scissors and a razor because the murderer was having his hair and brybrows (@Megnut) maintained. LOL
I do find it strange that Bryan went through the steps of trimming his brows and hair when he was pleading guilty. What’s the point.

Ethan’s parents will not be at Kohberger’s sentencing next week.

Hearing Ethan's mom speak on the Prime documentary I got the impression she does not intend to waste time on BK. If I were in her shoes, I'd feel the same. Don't need to see, hear or anything more from that guy.

Good for them. Instead, they're going to be out on their sailboat, remembering Ethan, and not giving any more thought to Kohberger. An amazing family, more power to them.

I don't think he actually planned on pleading out until that weekend before. Reality and AT kind of bit him in the bum about facing a firing squad IMO.

They are an amazing family. I did appreciate that when the interviewer brought up the Goncalves family, though not by name, and mentioned how some family members were not satisfied with the plea deal that was reached, Ethan's mom took the high road and refused to throw shade, but merely said, "Yeah, everybody's entitled to grieve and feel what they want. Yeah, that's just not how we feel."

I do wish nothing but the best for all of the members of all of the families impacted directly by the killer, as well as all of the friends who now will not be summoned to testify in a long, drawn out trial. Once he has been sentenced, take him away to his new digs, and if his name never gets mentioned again, until it is attached to his obituary, very few tears will be shed, if any. JMO

This is telling, Chapter 41 BK stopped showing up to TA after a meeting, 2 weeks after Professor John Snyder told him he had failed to meet the requirements. His department improvement plan included 'losing the misogyny" and they were slated to meet again in a month. This was approximately on November 10th. That timing. Yowza

Elliot Rodger called people Beckys (feminist) Stacys (hot girls dating athletes) and Chads (some of the athletes they date), referencing the types he did not like. It would be fitting if instead of the word incel, we could call them Elliotts and Bryans.

I watched the Prime docuseries and I'm really surprised no one from the college went to the house when they first heard. Those poor kids just sitting outside with no local family or knowing what was going on until the message went out. So sad. (Edited to fix spelling)
I get why you would say this, but I don't think that's strange at all. I have a child who just graduated from a medium-sized, public state university, and she lived off campus, in a town much like Moscow is described. If something tragic happened at her apt, it would never occur to me that someone from her school would or should show up. Emergency alert, yes, of course. Moo

I actually asked MrC (University employee) if that would be done here, because I didn't think it would either. I was a bit surprised when he told me otherwise. The university here has sworn police officers as opposed to just security guards, and the university PD would send an officer over to act as a liaison. He said that the Dean of Students would likely go, but that's more because she chooses to do so (she's attended scenes of fires and such before) rather than any requirement. So I think a lot of it depends on the individual school, MOO.

There are so many things that do not make sense about this crime.

XK appeared to have fallen back into the room taking many injuries to her fingers fighting someone off.

A new one is that EC was stabbed while sleeping and facing the wall, stabbed in the neck and "buttocks". We had heard calves and legs so this is different. WT?

This is more common in Italy and even has a name:

Y'all, hoping these beautiful people found some peace of mind and grace. They all deserve it!

For those interested:

Officials have said the murders took place around 4 a.m., but a 911 call did not come in until just before noon.

That's too perfect. 🥰 Taking the high road and not allowing this murderer to spend anymore time in the life of their days.

Valid. But this is their opportunity to make a victim impact statement. However, since BK is being sentenced to 4 consecutive life sentences, any victim impact statement won't make a difference anyway.

I understand wanting to move on. Respecting their choice. For me, it would probably help me to bring closure to the entire situation. But they might feel that is not necessary.

One of my kids was an RA. In on campus housing, public safety would have been called, then local police, the Dean of students, and who knows how many other notifications would have gone out before an alert was sent. I think this being off campus changed up how things went down. Who plays point in this instance..
