Kaylee, Xana, Ethan, and Maddy will never be forgotten.

It wasn't the justice that some wished but at the end of the day the best that could be hoped for.
Prison will be no picnic, and look at what happened to Dahmer.

BK will not have a life or any freedom until he dies and there's always another inmate who has a grudge against him and there will be no escape from them.
Never again to take a walk in a park (I read he liked to go to parks at night !), go to a movie or eat out with friends/family.

They're strong, but its hard. I had a sense that Maddie's mom and at least one of the grandmas were still struggling with depression and grief. I feel for them.

I can respect her job up to the point she wanted to present the surviving roommates as alternative suspects. This is where I have a hard time because defending a person is one thing, victimizing victims again to do that I can't respect that. I think people can defend someone and NOT seek to cause further harm to the innocent. No way she actually thinks either of the surviving roommates could have had anything to do with it.

If you dont try every angle possible when your client is facing life in prison or the death penalty, that could leave him open to argue he had ineffective counsel.

They did a very good job. An excellent job, considering they weren't from a jurisdiction that provided much experience in murder investigations. They were suddenly pushed into the deep end of the pool with these murders and they handled it well.

Same for the prosecutor and judge. They all did good work.

2nd Q to the cops - at the outset LE said this was a targeted attack, who was the target & what's the evidence?

cops reply - there's a reason this house was chosen but we don't know & we don't know who was & we're not going to speculate

3rd Q to the cops - was Pappa Rogers BK?
cops reply -No, we looked fully into it but no PR wasn't BK

4th Q to the cops - is it poss there was a 2nd weapon?
cops reply -no, All the evidence tells us a Kabar knife
