I’ve only read the responding officers reports so far and this is way way worse than I thought. The savagery is unbelievable.
Add to that, from the prosecutor/LE press conference yesterday that they found absolutely no connection between BK and the victims is chilling. It truly could have been any house in that community that he might have chosen. He was looking to kill, period.
I just had this thought…do you think all those times he drove around and past the King Street house he was also driving by other houses in that loop also. Like, he had multiple possible target houses he was watching over time, before deciding on the one, that night.
Just wondering.

And had to wait till they were intoxicated. 😡
You know, you are probably right. In response to Alivea's question... "Why November 13th?"... it might have been less about the actual date, and more about the day of the week (a Friday or Saturday night). I hadn't considered that before and kept wondering why that specific date and did that mean anything to BK.

Anyone come across any documents relating to professor snyder yet? I really want to know what he had to say when police interviewed him. So many rumours in the beginning that he and Bryan had conflict and that Bryan had been sacked from his TA job. In the interview when he was arrested, the police asked him if he was going to be a TA next semester and Bryan said yes. Which means he was unaware he was fired at this point?
So what’s the truth

DM was the one hearing/seeing "fireworks".
I wonder if a lamp was knocked around or something to that effect & it caused a lightbulb to burst? Lightbulbs can sound like a muffled firecracker of sorts when hitting a hard surface & it might also briefly flash if plugged in.

Utter speculation.

Reading between the lines (redactions) this report appears that it could be saying that Alivea sent a Facebook post by Dylan (about the incident) to the police. I wonder what was contained in that post that made Alivea think the police should look into this.

As we know, the Goncalves family was working diligently on their own, searching across social media and collecting clues they found along the way. Perhaps one day more on this specific detail will come out. JMOO.

What are you getting at?
What are you implying?

Not sure about the other houses. There definitely was a connection that LE couldn't find IMO.

BK would make every effort to not leave traces of stalking, etc.--criminology background and all. He went directly to the 3rd floor, Maddie's room. Others have said that the interior of the house is not intuitive, the way the stairs are. Maybe he found plans of the house layout, or maybe had been inside before, undetected. Based on his OCD I would imagine he planned which person and which house weeks or even months before. Sounds like he is a germaphobe too, sort of surprised he would feel comfortable committing a crime like this at all.

Well there you go- more proof that he WAS stalking them.
I agree @LinasK I also agree that there is a connection between someone at 1122 (or more than someone) and BK even if LE said they couldn't find one.

And I'm not willing to brush off SG's interviews and statements as "stretching his stories" as some all over the internet are starting to do.

Thank you to the members who are ploughing through MPD website's document uploads and copying the contents onto WS.

Unfortunately most of the posts are ' trapped' on the end of the last WS thread, posted by MassGuy & 10ofRods but they are well worth a read.

Sheer number of injuries, discarded black backpack, footprints in snow, a Ka-bar given by an Oklahoma Professor, Loserberger monitoring the emergency services radio and lots more...
Be careful reading these files. Often (as in the OK professor story) these are tips that turn out to be unsubstantiated. It's not all "evidence."

The judge in the Bryan Kohberger trial wiped away tears when giving the 30-year-old quadruple murderer four life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole for killing four University of Idaho students.

“During the quiet morning hours of Nov. 13, 2022, a faceless coward breached the tranquility of six beautiful young people and senselessly slaughtered them — four of them,” he said, pausing to stare at Kohberger.

“But due to the killer’s incompetence and outstanding police work,” the person “that slithered through that sliding glass door at 1122 King Road now stands before the world and this court unmasked.”

With him using VPN'S and successfully wiping his electronics clean, how could LE say there was no connection between BK and his victims???

Unless it's explained to me differently, this is a no, nada, nope... He knew at the least one of them.

He was near that home 23+ times.....
Is it possible to wipe a SIM card? I always thought that's what the pings were from.

The documents are devastating to read, all of them-- even the ones that have small amounts of information. The sheer scope of the carnage in the house combined with the fine tooth comb of the investigators uncovering each and every detail makes me incredibly grateful to those first responders. The idea that a human being could do this just boggles my mind.

I can't stop thinking about the Sandy Hook killer and this killer's resemblance in the facial structure. Not sure how to clear that facial image from my head. For both of them, the idea that they will never be free among humans is a small comfort. But, the idea that a human can devolve to what they had/have become is terrifying.

On one level, I am not sure that I could have sat on a jury with this sheer amount of evidence, including the details about the injuries and photos of these four young people. On another level, in my personal life I am not pro death penalty but I can understand the strong feelings of some families about proceeding with a trial to get the death penalty enforced.

I have watching the roommates impact statements more than once. I hope these women get the support and love they need. And, I can only pray that the internet warriors who terrorized them fall away as they enter the new chapter.

I am glad this monster is done and his name does not need to be uttered by anyone anymore.

ETA: If I had my way, the title of this thread would remove his name and replace it with the victims or just his initials. He doesn't deserve to have people search his name and have links to information with his name attached.

What terrifies me is the fact that he will likely go on spreading dangerous Incel/Elliot Rodgers/anti-women theories from inside prison walls.

Especially now after victim impact statements, the guy is more filled up with hate than ever.
You could see it in his eyes at sentencing. Nothing but repressed hate and anger underneath that seemingly empty stare.

Let’s hope everything this creature does, says or writes will be monitored to the max.

JMO
I think they are restricted in how they communicate with the outside world. Obviously, some prisoners are good at circumventing these controls, one way or another, but I think that's more common with prisoners with gang ties who have experience with organized crime and can manipulate people. But BK is not going to be able to set up a website for probergers and inches.

And that's another reason why I wonder if he had more than one house on his mind during his night-time drives.

MOO is that Maddie was not the first girl he'd followed home. Could be the alleged others he followed lived in hard-to-access dwellings, and when he saw where Maddie lived, he knew he'd found a great location.

and cops who mistook one victim for another & cops who aren't trained as M.E.s so they can't accurately describe injuries ( hence second weapon confusion)

Emphasis mine.
I'm going with the bolded as a first guess as to how he knew who slept where ?
Imo.

Did BK actually take a class at the OK college? I don't remember hearing that until yesterday.

My understanding is Maddie's room and window were easily viewed from outside/the street. She had things in her window indicating her name. If he was stalking for awhile, he would know that Kaylee had moved out.
