GUILTY PLEA DEAL ACCEPTED - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered, Bryan Kohberger Arrested, Moscow, Nov 2022 #114

No, he saw Xana and Ethan before the police arrived. The surviving roommates and the friends outside at that time (of the bodycam) weren't aware that their friends were dead. Only Ethan knew (he wasn't aware of M&K though)

Okay maybe it is some sort of an assumption of mine but I thought they overheard the officer say quadruple homicide. Perhaps I made that connection and should not have. Been a long week.

Also, college students should assume and I linked the crying to them grasping they were gone to the crime scene tape going up, the seriousness of the approach, and the fact that nobody who was an EMT went into help. I think they knew. JMOO

I know she is not everyone's cup of tea, but I do think Pat Brown hit the on the head with this video regarding Bryan Kohberger's psychopathy and the futility of expecting for definite, truthful answers from this sick creep - and why he will never, EVER get it. If you have 10+ minutes to spare, definitely recommend this watch:

it is worth watching, even if she is a bit intense. she makes many good points esp. about the possible release of more crime scene photos. I for one am not clamoring to see more graphic photos, but I would have to look if they are available. but to agree with Pat Brown, none of us outside of LE, the associated attorneys or the families should demand the right to see them.

i have often wondered what the point of our (the general public's, me included) interest in cases like this are. I think it is our desire to make sense out of chaos; 4 people, minding their own business are brutally killed...we want there to be a reason. if there is no reason, then our world is filled with unknowns and that is scary for some people. the human brain is hard-wired to see patterns & make sense out of data, and it is stressful when we cannot do that.

as a person who follows true crime, BKs motive will never make sense even if he does state it. what interests me most is the investigative techniques to catch these people, and if (and that is a big IF) more research gives insight to a common factor in killers I.e. head injury, abuse as a child etc. however, science is not there yet & could be there is no common factor.

You're right, another officer towards the end of the footage said quadruple homicide into his phone although I don't believe the group sat nearby heard him or had been told yet. Throughout the bodycam footage we've seen, it's only poor Hunter who knows that X&E are dead (why I think he was sitting alone in the car) The bodycam officer also asks another officer about informing the group and no clear answer is given.
I'm not sure how long after the footage, they were told about the housemates or if they figured something serious out😞

I just watched both the body cam and looked at the new pictures released. Kudos to the officer first on the scene. He did a great job. It broke my heart when he was speaking to the officer who was going to get water bottles for the friends and he said they want to know what happened…..water bottle officer (with glasses) says, they know. Seeing Murphy being walked out broke me.

Looking at the pictures, the every day lives of 6 people who were a family and doing everything right. Just living life. The little Christmas pillow on the floor, the 2 tiny Christmas trees, the television left on, the empty toilet paper holder, the cute outdoor space, Xana’s uneaten fries from her DD order….so heartbreaking. I can just picture all the fun they had and the memories made. They went to bed believing in tomorrow. ☹️😔😢

IMO
His motive is the same as other mass shooters', school shooters', etc.

Meaning: deranged mind.

It is always the same old story to me.
When you hear about one
you hear about them all.

Murphy's little look back over to the two housemates as he was being walked away was 💔

According to one of the recent programs, they learned when they got first one, then a second campus alert.

Brutal.

Does anyone know at what point was the first mention of "bushy eyebrows"? I'm unable to sort through the docs at this time.
JMO, head cannon, really, but in my mind, around 4:16a.m., DM muttered to herself, "who was that bushy eyebrowed mother[expletive]?"

This was a knife put by the student Hunter in the morning
when he checked the house In case the murderer was still hiding there.
Yet another sad gut punch for Hunter, knowing what he saw and what he did to protect the others, both physically and emotionally.

My belief is that we seek to find "where the victims went wrong". Please don't say I'm victim blaming, I am just stating what I believe to be the case. In this particular case, it is obvious that they were lax in their property security. That is not a crime or a sin or a character defect or whatever. But it did contribute to them becoming victims of a madman. He may have got in anyway, or he may have gone on to a more vulnerable household. Even cavemen knew that wolves were out there, lit fires, and stood guard. I believe that by following these awful cases, lives can be saved by people taking more care to avoid certain situations.

She says she heard Kaylee's name spoken

It is possible that what she first heard was him speaking to Xana and saying, "It's okay, lady, I'm here for you" and she misheard 'lady' as Kaylee. It would fit if he was pretending he was some LE hero and wanting to slow/stop her.
Maybe when BK said "I'm here for you", he actually meant it as "I'm coming for you" :(

I wouldn't believe one single word that came out of his mouth. He is a pathological liar, killer, human being. MOO.
RSBM
He may be a "being", but he is not human, IMO.

.

With the time stamped body cam video of LE initially showing up at the scene.....for those who follow the case with a microscope?....where is 'bushy eyebrows' at this exact time, I believe he did a mid-morning drive by, but the LE showing was closer to noon.....where is 'bushy eyebrows' just before noon?

Another very sad moment for me was LE speaking with and turning away rescue workers. Although there was no sound, the facial and body language of those hoping to help was powerful.

I found that moving too. So many rescue workers showed up, yet found out they were not needed. You could sense the "brotherhood" among them.

(I didn't notice women in that particular moment and I mean no exclusion by that word.)

You mean physically where was he? I believe I read he headed to a grocery store that afternoon.

I read here that he went to an out of the way grocery store that afternoon . Hopefully, someone can clarify. I can’t find the posts to link. IMO

Busy morning.

Two hours after the murders, iirc he was talking to Mother (or someone on that plan). Then he was in Moscow, near the crime scene but not caught on camera AFAIK (possibly without the contrast of headlights against a dark night, his car was not picked up on the access road and he didn't drive closer-- just closer enough to see zero emergency vehicles). Then he was back to his apartment for the snappy thumbs up selfie.

And then off to another town for some domestic shopping around noon. And why? No stores closer? IMO he was way over there for reasons.

Topping my list: disposing of the previously concealed murder weapon, disposing of his kill kit, washing his car.

There's always a car wash.
