What if BK could not handle "losing"? It's a life skill to come up empty at some point and still pull yourself up by your bootstraps or figure out a way to persevere. I have literally been in a crumpled heap on the floor thinking I was going to lose my house. I let the fear in, let it wash over me, pushed it to leave. And then I figured out a way to find the money for my house payments. (Feel the fear and do it anyway) It's a skill you are either taught, figure out for yourself with or without help, or never learn. If I had never learned it, I'd have given up and lost everything.

What if all his mother does is listen to BK complain about his lot in life because he has no idea how to make lemonade out of lemons? And that even if the lemons went bad, go figure out something else.

I’m curious about what his family would have said about him if they had to testify. He was weird all of the time so I can’t imagine what they would say. ‘He is bright, a hard worker, responsible, helpful, dependable’??
