Was HJ the one in the police car staying warm?
Yah Hunter was in the police car - though I don't think it was to stay warm, you hear him say something along the lines of "I'm the only one who knows" so I believe he was alone in the car as opposed to being with the others as he didn't want them to ask him questions or read his face and find out through him 😞

Poor lad

Hunter J--greenish greyish sweat shirt, white shorts, no socks, white flip flops
Kaylee's longtime ex bf Jack D--medium blue hoodie, white basketball shorts, white socks, blue or brown or black flip flops
Hunter Chapin--pink hoodie, blue shorts
Dylan--navy tshirt, light olive green pj pants, barefoot
Bethany--when the officer first arrives she isn't with the small group right in front of the house by the cars....Bethany is standing all the way across the street by herself, she has on a blue ttshirt with white lettering, long blue pants, and sandals

I don't think Maisie Chapin arrives there during the video unless she comes up to the group when the camera isn't pointed toward the group.

Kaylee's longtime ex bf JD was in the police car. I went back and rewatched/listened. After the cop goes back to him in the cop car and says he can go sit with the group if he wants, JD says, "I just want to know what's going on. The cop replies that he doesn't really know what he's allowed to tell him and that they are processing the scene now, and that he knows it sucks to be in the dark.

JD replies "Everybody knows but me." JD lived very nearby....when he woke up, he hadn't heard about anything. His roommate noticed there were cop cars and ambulances at 1122 King. I don't know if JD looked at his overnight texts/calls from Kaylee and Maddie at that point or not. But he walked over to the house to find Dylan sobbing and saying a lot of stuff that doesn't make sense to him while BF and all these other kids are sobbing and hugging each other. At one point once JD has joined the group on the street, Emily goes over and talks to him a bit. I suspect she's being very careful to not tell him what she knows directly from Hunter J. But she's likely explaining how Dylan called her that morning, what Dylan said on the phone, how when she got there, Hunter had already gone up and then told the girls to call 911. Maybe she tells him Hunter said X&E were unconscious and then leaves it at that Dylan tries telling him lots of things all at once, and I think all JD knows is that something very bad has happened but no one can confirm if whatever that was has happened to Kaylee too.

At that point all the kids who were standing there either directly knew something was wrong because they lived in the house, or DM/BF had called them and asked them to come look at the house (Hunter J, Emily, Emily's roomie and Emily's roomie's bf). And I think at least one other kid had joined them. And they all have different pieces of the puzzle and are trying to put it together but they all know something bad has happened, no one could contact X, E, K, or M, and all the EMT help just walked up, talked for a bit and left. They know Hunter J went in, saw, and told them to call 911...but he told them Xana was unconscious to protect them. He had told his gf Emily a bit of the truth, that E and X were dead. He may have even told her away from the rest "murdered." But I get the impression that he didn't tell the rest of the group details---they just got from his face that it was bad...and as the crime scene tape the group standing there had to know at least Xana and Ethan were dead, even before EMT came up and then left without going in, especially as Dylan told them more and more about what she remembered hearing and seeing. And I think unconsciously they knew that meant K&M were dead too.....because their cars were still there, they were there last night when D and B went to bed, and the two haven't responded to any calls/texts or msgs on social media apps...and their social media apps show they haven't been on.

Once Hunter J hears more of the details from Dylan, he's really the one who has the most complete idea of what happened...and I'm positive that once he found X&E dead by obvious murder and beyond saving he knew the other two were too without even needing to go up and see for himself.

If any state is going to take this stance, it will be Idaho. I consider myself a compassionate person, but I totally agree with you. I feel logic is on your side.

In reality, what is going to happen is that the people (serious felons) who put the things on his plate are going to mess with him. Two stale rolls instead of one. What then? More complaints?

I resent that his complaints are getting this coverage and yet, I should have expected it. All the other prisoners who don't get this much coverage are going to hate him. He's not making any buddies in prison.

Heck, give him three stale rolls and 3 fruit cups. If he doesn't eat all of it, document it and reduce it. That should please the authorities (I still don't know where he could take his complaints, if they are unaddressed). That first meal he had looked more than calorically sufficient and perfectly edible.

The yelling through the vents issue is what it is. Loud neighbors can occur anywhere.

IMO.

I posted about this before but that wasn't necessarily his first meal. The article that claimed that stole that picture from the jail's website. You can see the exact same picture on the jail's description of their food.

Plus he had a month to clean the car of any remnants of the murders, so he probably didn't care much about the muck from his trip. He may have thought he was home free. I really wish they'd been able to get the car sooner so maybe they'd have a few more answers.

yep even the night he was arrested he was in the garage with his car so he cleaned and cleaned and cleaned incessantly IMO

bloody trash?

I think TMZ is referring to the Taco Bell bag covered in blood that is on the floor by Xana's desk.

Like Hunter, I hope Dylan knows how truly brave she is at heart. At the risk of bringing the intruder’s attention to herself she still called out loud enough to to see if her roommate needed help and despite her fear she didn’t look away as she took in just enough details of his clothes, height and facial features to pass on to LE the next day. I mean, she swung open her door, which wasn’t even locked, to look for Xana even when she thought someone chasing her. The poor girl was already so afraid and didn’t know who he was or what he what was going on but she didn’t lock her bedroom door she opened it up, at the expense of her own safety and the intruder coming after her, because of the love and care for Kaylee.

Hearing that her bedroom door was unlocked as he the first time he walked past her door and that the murderer made eye contact with her really brings to home how close she came to being attacked, harmed or even killed too. Plus, the back door remained open and didn’t have a lock either meaning he could have come right back in at any moment and waited in the dark for his chance to get to her. Yet, despite her fear and vulnerability she still found the courage to leave the safety of bedroom and run down to Bethany’s. In my opinion, she would have made her friends proud as she found the fortitude to make sure to answer the officer’s questions concisely and clearly enough. It didn’t matter how scared she was, she still played a big part in making sure the perp got caught and that Kaylee, Ethan, Maddie and Xana got the justice they so deserved.

These moment or acts may seem small but for all of the negativity and criticism she has unfairly received I hope she remembers she didn’t just freeze, she didn’t just curl into a ball and ignore everything even as she was concerned her friends might be hurt or just walk out the house door to let Bethany check on everyone by herself after the sun came up, all of which would have been easier and more comfortable for her. She still acted courageous in my opinion

Also her thinking Kaylee and Maddie were dancing and laughing in the 3rd floor bedroom causes it to make even more sense for why she didn’t call 911, JMO too

And she had the courage to leave her room to seek safety with BF. Murphy was still barking so the intruder could have been in the house still, in fact he could have been right outside her door again.

And what were they to think? It was quite again, and they fell asleep. I won't take that from them. They'd wake soon enough, to a horror they can never escape.

That huddle, while broken, was a model of courage.

Slider was on the back wall of the 2nd floor in the kitchen. The beer pong table was in living room perpendicular to the hall to Xana's room, set with the short end about a foot away from the half wall to the 1st floor stairs and cutting that area of the living room almost in half.
It probably would have saved Ethan's life if she had, but she'd have just been dead on the ground outside the house.

In truth, we don't know where he encountered her. He may have procluded her from escaping, forcing her to retreat.

He attacked when they were utterly vulnerable. Unaware, unarmed, ambushed.

So unfair. So cruel.

It was so fast. It was a party house in Greek Pranks R Us territory.
Calling police would end her good relationship with roommates if it was a prank or some frat weirdo that somebody who used to live there knew. All blame for the situation belongs to the kilker.

Picture #70 and #71 in the interior shots gallery taken in the second floor bathroom.
It's an attention grabbing ridiculous headline!

Bryan Kohberger's Murderous Crime Scene, See The Photos

Yup, that's more likely what they are referring to.

It's two spots of blood on a piece of toilet tissue on the very top of Xana's bathroom trash. There is a lot of other trash in that can, so hard to know the source.

One theme which crops up in the the WSU interviews is ' calculated ' and incidences where BK says stuff which he knows can get him into trouble ( discriminatory? they didn't specify) so he skirts the risk and covers that with caveats and qualification.
He was like that with his traffic stops too....he'd passive/aggressively criticise the officers, but politely and feigned sincerity, making excuses for his infractions. ['They don't have crosswalks where I'm from']. Caveats and Qualifications is a perfect description.
( I'll find the supp numbers if anybody needs them)

why mention it?
Because the ex CO Anthony Gangi who runs ' Tier Talk' says that he thinks that BK has read all the small print on sexual harassment and PREA law in prisons ( TT is on Ytube) and knows how to work the system - the rules. Gangi covered all the reasons - legit and otherwise - how inmates work their rights and talks about manipulation eg how to get moved from a unit you don't like.

OOOOH, I can easily believe that he is trying to set himself up for a prime, elite placement somewhere. Bet he'd love to be in one of those federal 'resort' type institutions. Too bad, so sad.
Second, WSU witnesses, Cellebrites and even Howard Blum said BK had a list of notes wrt to how he planned to fight any WSU sexual harassment allegations. Plus, recall when he was first arrested and we saw state's list of items?

Also, @Ghostwheel raised the risk of civil suits yesterday
I think he is trying to engineer something for himself. Figures if he files enough complaints then someone will eventually give in, and get him 'Whole Foods' deliveries, and private accommodations away from his tormentors.

I doubt it will work out that way though. He might just be spinning his wheels.

I do wonder what his appeals process is for this. AFAIK, the prison has its own internal prisoner review process, which stops at the Chief Admin/Warden. "I want two fruit cups, due to nutritional needs, they only gave me one." Is a few missing fruit cups or lack of extra bread roll enough to make management talk to the prisoners who are in charge of putting stuff on plates? If there are still "mistakes" then what's his appeal process?

How would he even manage to file a lawsuit against the prison/its admins? I mean, sometimes you see the defense attorney from the criminal trial attempt to redress truly egregious prison conditions, but that's actually rare. In this case, he had a public defender, and I really don't think they're going to go against their own public system to get him his fruit cup.

But let's say that a hungry civil attorney, wanting notoriety, decides to file a lawsuit against the prison and names the State of Idaho as a defendant. To get said civil attorney, BK needs permission from...the Chief/Warden (who approves all visitors and phone call participants who are not immediate family). Let's say the Warden says "Nope," you lost your right to make outside business arrangements when you became a convicted felon.

I can't even imagine a system in which prisoners were all allowed to have civil attorneys stop by and then file suits on their behalf. I have no clue if this happens at all, but I know it's not common.

Warden will likely tell kitchen admin (who doesn't themselves perform the tray filling) to give BK his extra (vegan) fruit cup, as he is entitled to stay on his vegan food plan.

(I imagine he's getting things like a can of drained black beans dumped on top of the standard prison "salad"...plus a fruit cup).

He's entitled to a certain number of calories spread across the traditional categories (protein, carbs, fats). I doubt his micronutrient balance and vitamins are going to be studied by some in-prison health crew. If he wanted freedom to eat as he wishes, he ought not to have done something to land in prison?

IMO.
I think he is going to have to use his money from family and female fans, and just buy himself oranges , almonds, avacados, tortilla chips or orange juice or whatever it is he feels is lacking from the commissary. .

The more he complains about the trays missing food, and inmates taunting him, the worse it will be, imo. He is going to need to grow up, learn to withstand the bullies and they will soon lose interest, imo.

Murderers in prisons have female fans.
Some even get married while in prison.
Some women come from abroad to visit them.

Didn't Ted B get married?
He even became daddy while incarcerated.

I think it is some kind of MH disorder on part of these women,
but I forgot the exact name hehe
