I'm sure you're right that the reason he was not allowed in was because of not having the card, BUT it's interesting that he was the ONLY person that the doorperson stopped on their way in! I went back to watch again to be sure, and she didn't stop a single person on their way in, except for him. Maybe she just recognized all the others or something, but I kinda doubt it.

As I review the newly released videos, I can't help but to contrast them with AT's statements. He's innocent, richocheting in my head. He wasn't driving over there. It's not his car. There's seven minutes... that might be a thing... The representations that he's clumsy, feeble, incapable...

Yet he knew his way around Moscow, knew his way around the Internets, knew how to use VPNs and incognito mode and scrubber, a runner with an athletic build... with bushy brybrows...

Who drove a white Elantra whose path was captured nearly unbroken, with no front plate, circling... until it stopped between 4:09 and 4:20...

No more presumption, factually innocent of nothing.

Actually factually guilty. Actually factually guilty as hell.

Shopping for something to drink while... Murphy cowered under Kaylee's desk.

I wonder if he got similar in different colors and switched (dirty/sweaty/coming down off a high). I have never known any human being to look so different and distorted in all my life. He never looks the same twice.

He has some muscle and obviously strength combined with enlarged man breasts and a wide waist, no glutes and I am still convinced he is malnourished in various ways (bulimia/pizza/enamel ripped off teeth to look yellowed permanently). BK is sort of engrossing, as a topic, because he is absolutely all over the place.

I cannot for the life of me imagine what the families must be thinking, if they've seen this. Or his family (albeit, they're probably not very objective). It does make your head spin.

When everything first happened, I wondered what kind of person could do this? My "make it make sense" moment.

FWIW AT knew about all this footage when she presented the alibi-which-wasn't-one, when she put Sy Ray forth, with the supposed exculpatory footage that was lost to dishonest cops, withheld discovery, seven missing minutes that were never actually missing, all invented diversions from the DNA which implicated BK every day and twice on the judge's Sundays.

Doesn't everyone and their brother know that you need a membership card to shop there? Since I think just about everyone knows that, I suspect that he was trying to sweet talk his way into the store when he stopped and was chatting up the door employee. Then that scowl on his face that we've all seen posted here was because he didn't get his (spoiled rotten) way. JMO!

So, if just about everyone knows you need a CostCo card to shop there (you actually don't need one to enter if you're there for prescriptions (I've done it multiple times), an eye exam (but need membership to buy glasses), and to purchase alcohol, although that might just be an Oregon thing since we're controlled by OLLC (Oregon Liquor Control Commission), (again, I've done it without a membership), and possibly more)...why did he want in? The only thing I can come up with is for the free food samples. JMO!

I'm a Costco member and it was a requirement to show the membership card. Recently, Costco requires that the membership card be scanned when entering but has an employee at the scanning machine.

Agree, one may have been preferred over another, but I am sure the murderer knew there were multiple girls in that house. I still think he could have wanted to target as many as possible. They were the very representation of who he blamed for his failures and short comings.

Xana being up and moving and then finding a big, strapping jock Ethan in her room, DM awake and calling out, and Murphy barking were factors he didn't consider which put him on the run.

I just don't think he would have gone in and killed Maddie if she was alone and then immediately left. Maybe he was planning some sick pseudo s e x u a l contact with her being passed out or dead.

How I wish he would have tripped on the stairs and fell onto the knife 5 times while chasing Xana.

I can’t get over how he essentially caved Kaylee’s face in… broke her nose, knocked her teeth out and stabbed her in the face and head in addition to severing her liver etc. I can’t imagine the physical strength it would take to do that.

And I’m really puzzled at the Judge’s “tender” comments towards Kohberger at sentencing—saying he didn’t have to stand up and show him respect. That still seems bizarre to me.

As for who he targeted, it’s anybody’s guess. At first everyone thought it was Kaylee because of the mutilation of her body—why it seemed personal and targeted. Now, folks seem to think it was Maddie because she looked like a past “love” interest of BK’s.

As for him knowing/not knowing how many people were in the home, his detective skills are abysmal—almost like he was more of a peeping Tom than actually analyzing and planning.

Hmm...seems we've traversed these grounds multiple times on how 80+ stabs to 4 people in such a short period time.

Let's do it again...

Let's start with dingbat's element of surprise. These young people were most likely asleep (except for Xana) and heavily intoxicated when the attacks began. A surviving roommate was in a "frozen shock phase" after seeing the masked killer, indicating in M00 the attack was sudden and disorienting. This gave dingbat a significant advantage, as he did not have to overpower four people simultaneously.

Lest we have dingbat's criminal education and backround. He knew to focus on vulnerable areas that would incapacitate victims very quickly. In the medical field it tells us a fatal stab to the chest can cause the brain to die within seconds. This means that while the overall number of wounds was high, the fatal injuries could have been inflicted extremely fast.

His alleged kick boxing and running would cause him to be physically fit. This would enable dingbat to exert the force needed to inflict the wounds, in M00.

Its not unheard of that in some attacks, the act of stabbing can occur in a matter of seconds. For example, the Sydney stabbings in 2024 showed that a person with a knife can inflict multiple fatal wounds and injure many people very quickly...

Yeah, there were no tender comments from the Judge...

Judge Hippler delivered a forceful condemnation of Kohberger during his sentencing hearing. The judge notably called him a "faceless coward." Then turned around and stated he was "unable to come up with anything redeeming about Mr. Kohberger, because his grotesque acts of evil have buried and hidden anything that might have been good or intrinsically human about him."
