I’ve been interested in what makes murderers, serial killers, and criminals who/what they are since I was a teen. To start, I remember going to the public library, and checking out and reading all of the Nancy Drew Mysteries, lol ! Dating myself, lol.
I’ve been a member of Websleuths since the beginning, 25 years.
What makes someone able to take someone else’s life? How does a serial killer’s mind work ? I’ve read so much literature and as many scholarly published psychology papers I have found. We can’t fathom killing someone, and then going to buy a coffee. Some people are able to do just that. No conscience, empathy, or sympathy. So very interesting to me.

I think we share the same DNA! LOL I had every Nancy Drew AND Hardy Boys book, worked part time odd jobs to pay for subscription to True Crime magazines.

I've been a member here for a long time as well and still find myself shocked at some of the things people will do to others. I've worked with LEO's and been to a lot of crime scenes.....and let me tell you, nothing prepares you for the reality of what a crime truly is.

Please don't beat me up over this, but I do tend to get a little frustrated when I hear others offer "mental health" as a reason for why people are so evil. I honestly believe that most killers do have some mental health issues, but I also believe most are just mean and evil.....no soul, no anything. I've seen my share of evil in people and they seemed to really enjoy it.

No. Each murder is a life sentence. And they would be served consecutively.
