clearly you've not read this book. i started it believing all the crap the media has fed me. i'm halfway through it and am aghast at what the Cops (who i thought were sandbagging the whole thing) had to deal with - they had plenty of crime in Boulder - the DA sent EVERYTHING to a plea deal, effectively making all his Prosecutors poor litigators. Attorneys have to practive, too.coloradokares said:Consider me a conservative amongst the liberals you just bashed. If Boulder itself is so bad why is it consistently in the top 5 of the top ten desirable places to live? Please you know nothing about Boulder. How many murders does Atlanta have every year. Did it occur to you why they had so much difficulty with this murder. Its because on Dec 25th 1996 they had not yet had a murder that year. Please don't bash where there is no cause to. There is nothing about this murder that was routine.
They gave a plea deal to a woman (IN Boulder) who bought a gun, wrote goodbye notes to her kids, shot her husband, turned herself in and CONFESSED in four hours.
Don't tell me they didn't have murders in that county. they didn't have Prosecutors with a spine in that county.
