Police: Family attacks TV news crew, yells racial slurs

Video and story are at the link.I am from near there.Next county over actually.The reporter was just doing her job and things like this happening makes me ashamed to be from that area at all.

I hope the reporter is ok.

These people are nuts. They knew there were other stations covering the situation there and let loose with racial slurs and physically attacking the reporter. They can actually be charged with a hate crime.

i don't understand racism at all. not one bit. it's so sad that in 2008, this country and world are still profoundly racist.

but you know what else i don't get ... how people can be so stupid as to attack a news reporter! you know if you do that, especially with the cameras rolling, you're going to get in trouble and you're face is going to be everywhere.
