Police Taser Deaf and Disabled Man

Not sure how I feel about this. There is not much to the story in the way of facts. Was it closing time? Was he acting irrational? How were the police to know he was deaf and disabled?

That's very sad. Not only was he mentally disabled, but he was deaf and didn't hear the officer's yelling. He was probably just using the men's restroom and had no clue until they shot pepper spray in and went in and tasered this poor man.

I'm just glad he's alive, because there have been past news stories about people in airports, etc., that are tasered and don't make it.

Nerve of the cops to try to press charges against him. Glad the judge squashed that.
