I watched the Buzzfeed Unsolved and found the comment about a man claiming his grandfather dated Martha (went by Jane) but that she died in a car crash in 1970. Knowing she would have been 37 at the time, I did a newspaper search and found this entry for a Jane, 37, who died in a car crash in 1970.
I used Ancestry.com to gain more information. Jane wouldn't be baptised until she was 14, 2 years after the fire. A birth record didn't pop up. Her 3 brothers are dramatically younger than her. 14 years younger and more.
I also found Jane's HS Yearbook photo. East High Wisconsin
May be nothing. But incase it is something. Resemblance to Martha I'll leave to those much wiser.
The initial lead is shakey enough but I had to give it a good college try.
