This is a resource from the American Bar Association. They have a standing committee established to encourage attorneys to give back to their communities. You can find facilities in every state and typically the people answering the phones are attorneys as well. They can be cash strapped, which might make them selective, but you never know until you try!

Most states have branches of the Legal Aid Society that provide legal assistance to those in need. This is a HUGE organization that does amazing work. The websites are listed by state so I will post links in each state's section. Or you can search for "Legal Aid Society" in any search engine.
