It is not copying correctly - sometimes that happens.
click the linkfrom where you are - then copy it from the explorer bar - THEN paste it.
I cannot be sure but that sounds like it might be your problems. Links do not always copy well from one web PAGE to another - but use the address bar instead and if you still have problems, post again.
Also down there -make sure parse links automatically is checked.
