Qatar reimposes lockdown after coronavirus surge

“Qatar announced the reimposition of strict lockdown measures on Wednesday, banning most indoor activities except retail and work in an effort to contain surging coronavirus cases.“

My brother in law lives in Qatar, the impression I had got from him before was that levels were fairly low, they locked down good at first, can't say I've looked up the numbers though, but I'm fairly surprised by this news. He's actually in Dubai at the moment visiting his sister, so will need to message them to see what's new.
