JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The family of Jacksonville teen Ray Pita is asking for help finding him.

They said the 18-year-old has been missing since Wednesday and they are concerned about his safety.

His family told News4JAX the last time they saw him was when he took an Uber to the Museum Of Science & History near downtown on Wednesday around midnight.

His sister and family said they have been placing fliers around the downtown area since his disappearance. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with black pants, a white shirt and white shoes.

His sister said he hadn’t done anything like this in the past.

The family also said they found his phone, but there weren’t any messages indicating where he could have gone.

The family calls it “strange” that he is a teenager and doesn’t have his phone with him.

If you see Pita, you’re urged to call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office

Very odd as well that he'd be going to the museum Wednesday night at midnight. Their website says they're closed Tues and Wed and open Thursday at 10 am. This young man looks so serious in the photos.

MOD NOTE:

Several posts have been deleted that have used a particular non-MSM source. Yes, if you search for this missing person, an article shows up about him. It WALKS like an MSM source but it doesn't QUACK like an MSM source, so it isn't an MSM source. How do we know?

On the surface, it looks like a pretty typical U.S. television station site, but if you check the contact page, you'll find it isn't even on this continent. The "recommended" articles listed on the left side of the page are those weird celebrity bio things that all the latest content scrapers are using. The front page has content from all over the globe but the articles are a mess, with bad grammar and misspelled or missing words.

Neither local LE nor local news sources have announced that this man has been found. Let's hope that he is, soon.
