Maybe the problem is that your PC is old. You need to update a few pieces from it and add some SSD memory and CPU for upgrading it to the necessities of the 2021 year. Also, it's very important to buy RDP only from trusted sources. My provider is one of the best on the market and I never had any problems with them. No lags or hacks. I use RDP for storing there some data from my job. I work in a big IT company so we use RDP for extra memory. It's comfortable to access the data from any computer near me.
