<!--startindex-->MINOT, N.D. -- Auto mechanic Jim Jundt is relying on horsepower to get to work -- his mare Patty.

As gas soars past $3 a gallon, Jundt is riding his horse to work.

He's a mechanic at Goodyear Tire and Auto Service in Minot, N.D.

Jundt said hay is a lot cheaper than gas, and started commuting on Patty last week.
