A heinous human decided they no longer wanted their dog, so they pitched her over a highway guardrail into a swamp. She had already gotten chomped by an alligator, and very likely would have been dinner had it not been for a police officer who spotted her and the firefighters who pulled her out.

Thanks for this story, Indy. It reminds us all that there are kind hearted people in this world who will pick you up when you need to rescuing; no matter whether other people think you're worth something or not.

Alligators can be pretty monstrous. Just this morning, a pretty big one was eyeing my husband hungrily while he was out in his kayak.
