Revisiting the Plausibility of a Flight from DeKalb-Peachtree airport to Boulder Municipal Airport

Very few jet aircraft in 1996 could be flown by a single pilot because the FAA's strict regulations; you can count them on one hand(Cessna made most of them). As for prop planes, only a few could muster the speed and range needed; you can count them on one hand.
For certain reasons, I zeroed in on the model(s) CESSNA CITATION 500 1S/P. There is one still at the DeKalb-Peachtree airport and it is the only one in Georgia according to the FAA. A little background, Cessna produced the Cessna Citation 500 and a slight variant, Cessna Citation 501 that is a single pilot jet; S/P means single pilot.

"The Citation I/SP is certified according to different rules that allow the aircraft to be flown by one pilot. ‘SP’ stands for ‘single pilot’. Cessna 500s can be converted into 501s and vice versa, but this conversion cannot be observed from the outside."

Instructions for conversion to Single Pilot is mostly moving name plates around and reducing passengers in the aircraft by removing seat belts; I don't see anything entirely expensive or very complicated.

Included in the images is a car route from Boulder Municipal Airport to the Ramsey's home; drive is approximately 12-15 minutes.
