This poor man was lodged in the drivers windshield for over a mile. The driver pulled over only because he was being followed by witnesses. All three hit and run victims were seriously injured.

What's with driving along with a man in the windshield?? Reminds me of the TX woman who did that -- and the man died!!

That's a very odd tory. I wonder if the driver was impaired with drugs or alcohol?

I would hope he was under the influnce of something and scared to get caught then to think he just didnt care ,but I really am just hoping for a mental illness as the cause of his actions. Driving drunk is stupid and shows poor decision making along with the incident in question it is unlikey he can stop making poor decissions. So I am hoping he has a mental illness as that can be treated and it just makes me feel safer.:crazy: or does it???

Christopher Swiridowsky got a piddly three years for the hit & run, which thankfully didn't kill anyone:

During the course of the trial, the State proved beyond a reasonable doubt that in the early morning hours on October 28, 2007 Swiridowsky pulled a 26-year old woman into his truck and raped her at gunpoint. After the assault, the defendant pushed the victim naked on to the street and drove away in his truck. The assailant was not known to the victim...

In June 2010, Swiridowsky was convicted of leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury. A DNA sample was taken from Swiridowsky upon conviction. The sample was entered into CODIS in January 2011, which resulted in a match to the 2007 sexual assault.
