Found Deceased RI - Judith O'Brien, 61, North Providence, 3 Aug 2017

North Providence police are asking for the public's help in finding a 61-year-old woman who was reported missing earlier this month.


Police said Judith O'Brien has medical conditions that require attention.

Police said O'Brien was last seen Aug. 3 in the area of Greenwood Credit Union in Warwick after leaving her home in North Providence.

Police said O'Brien is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 125 pounds. She has short red wavy hair and green eyes.


Investigators said they believe she's driving a gray 2007 Toyota with Rhode Island registration O-355. She may be with a man named John Seal.

North Providence police asked anyone who knows the whereabouts of O'Brien to call Lt. Dennis Stone in the detective division at 401-231-4533, ext. 136.

Hello! I'm a local. The only Greenwood Credit Union is the one in Warwick, so it's likely she may have withdrawn cash from there if that was the last place she was seen. To propose a theory, because she has medical issues and is elderly, Seal could've offered her a ride back to North Providence because as small as RI is traffic can be heavy in the summertimes and it makes lengthy routes longer. If anyone wants to ask about the geography of Providence and Warwick, feel free to ask me because as aformentioned I'm a local who knows the cities well!!

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Rhode Island State Police say the body of a missing 61-year-old woman was found last week in the stairwell of a Providence apartment.
Col. Ann Assumpico said Tuesday that detectives and the medical examiner's office identified the body found Friday as Judith O'Brien, of North Providence.
