RI - Mass Shooting at Brown University - Providence 13 Dec 2025

Oh, he's one of those who doesn't like anyone and if life isn't exactly like he desires it to be then it's all fake and an illusion. Yeah, ok. Tough to live your whole life like that. This man was never happy nor was he able to be. I feel so bad for his parents. And the sad part is that they will most likely spend thousads to bring his body to Portugal, they will pay for a funeral and for his burial, which he doesn't even deserve. What a pitiful man.

“I was almost confronted by a guy there that day — not almost, I actually was confronted and he knew my, my, my license plate,” he said. “I honestly never thought it would take them so long to find me.” He also said being confronted was the “catalyst” that led him to overcome his hesitations and actually open fire at Brown on Dec. 13.

This stood out to me and I had wondered if the confrontation was the deciding factor since we know he had been to the school so many times and had the storage unit for 3 years. Of course, there is no blame at all for the man that confronted him, this solely on the shooter and him alone. I hope "John" has help with what has happened so he can work through it with a professional.
He says it was the deciding factor, but who knows. He may be lying to try to save his bruised ego. He already apparently blinded himself in one eye because he was an idiot. Needed to make himself feel better somehow.

“[…] During my lifetime no-one sincerely apologized to me. […] The few times there was an appearance […] it was all fake. I did not like any of you. […] I began to grow suspicious since I barely have conscious memory at the age of three. At the age of five I was already sure.”
this almost sounds like paranoia to me. everything's fake, everyone's insincere, suspicious from a young age.

did he say (in things made public so far) why he killed NL?

Cláudio Manuel Neves Valente was consumed by intense jealousy and envy. He held grudges. He was a constant complainer. A textbook example of injustice collector. Something we see too often ranging from Bryan Kohberger, Nick Reiner, Sajid and Naveed Akram, Yoselyn Ortega, Gertrude Baniszewski, Pamela Smart, Lori Drew, Erin Patterson, Dora Cisneros, Betty Broderick, Elliot Rodger, Adam Lanza, Seung-Hui Cho, Panya Khamrab, David Kozák, Nikolas Cruz, Eric Harris, Salvador Ramos, Devin Kelley, Christopher Dorner, Vester Flanagan, Stephen Paddock, Andrew Kehoe, Timothy McVeigh, Jim Jones, Osama bin Laden, and Abubakar Shekau.
