Yes, almost as if he recognized the person and knew the person would recognize him. Makes me wonder if he is local or a student. Someone not from the area or not going to school there likely wouldn't be super concerned with being recognized, just the general wanting to cover up or avoid cameras. It looks way more suspicious trying to avoid someone than just walking past them so it is curious as to why he would run away. He didn't try to avoid the woman walking across the street, he followed behind her and watched her walk off.
Doubtful. Most colleges don't have that. Frankly, I think it would be a logistical nightmare, especially with college students. Plus, it wouldn't be hard for a bad actor to foil it, saying, "Oh, I forgot my ID can you hold the door?"

That part of the video is very strange to me as well. I can't really think of what would cause two people to run at that same part of the street. I was thinking there could be a bus stop further down the street, but I don't see anything like that on Google Maps.
JMO but the guy seems so on edge in the videos that I think he might have just stumbled on his words.
To build off that, as of right now it seems pretty well planned at least in regard to not leaving a ton of evidence behind. Also them seemingly killing time would also to me that there was something specific they were waiting for. It seems unlikely to me that someone who seemingly planned the shooting pretty well and seemed so nonchalant about killing time would walk into the wrong room. What I’m saying is I definitely agree and that my prevailing theory would be that he was targeting that room for a specific reason, whether it was someone in it or what the room represented.
Yes! There’s one clip of someone – either the POI or someone who walked into the street later – running. There’s another of him running closer to the camera. In the latter, he’s running very comfortably and that surprised me. Looks like an entirely different person. (I’m not saying it’s the wrong person, just that the running is fluid.) And, as you say, why the running, so long before the shooting?
Yes it was like a different person, running, very comfortably. I was whoaaa. It was him though. I assumed he was running just to 'mix it up' from just pacing around the building sidewalks. He was there a long time, waiting, but we don't know if he was waiting for a reason, though it seems so. IMO
