Robert Conrad of 'The Wild, Wild West' dead at 84

(CNN)Actor Robert Conrad, known for the television show "The Wild, Wild West," died Saturday at the age of 84, according to his family spokesperson Jeff Ballard.

Conrad died of heart failure in Malibu, California, a little less than a month before his 85th birthday, Ballard said.
"He lived a wonderfully long life and while the family is saddened by his passing, he will live forever in their hearts," Ballard said.

I have always thought Robert Conrad was one of the most handsome actors there ever was, and thoroughly enjoyed watching him in The Wild, Wild West and other shows. I also really liked his partner in that series, Ross Martin. TWWW was a great, innovative TV show.

He was the first tv Star I ever had a crush on. While my friends were drooling over David Cassidy, I wanted Robert Conrad.
