UK Rowan Lorenzo Smith, 44, Solihull resident, missing in Colombia, 27 Jun 2015

Another person who vanished without a trace is Rowan Lorenzo Smith from Solihull. He left the UK on June 16, 2015, to visit his mother in Jamaica, but the 44-year-old never returned to Britain.

After his stay in Jamaica, it is believed Rowan may have continued his journey to Panama before heading to Bogotá, Colombia, where he is thought to have arrived on June 27. However, his family has not heard from him since 2015, leaving them deeply worried.

No prizes for guessing what was probably going on there.

Smith set up a company under the name of R & S Promotion Ltd on 16 October 2014, some 9 months before his trip and his going missing. The incorporation papers can be seen here:

The company was struck off the Companies House register and dissolved on 29 March 2016, ie some 9 months after he went missing.

There is no evidence that the company ever traded and it has no footprint at all, but it may have been set up in relation to whatever Smith was doing in Colombia.

For what it is worth, this end terrace property is where he was living and where the company had its registered office address:

I suspect the property is a rented one as it does not appear to have come up for sale since Smith went missing.
