Details of Disappearance:Cunningham was last seen leaving her apartment in the 2100 block of Fifth Avenue in New York City on August 11, 1977. She had just returned from a modeling assignment in Panama and was going to an agency for another modeling booking. She left all her luggage behind in her apartment and has never been heard from again. At the time of her disappearance, Cunningham was a registered nurse at Harlem Hospital in Manhattan and a model for ABC Sports. None of her credit cards or bank accounts were ever touched by strangers. Her case remains unsolved.

Another research for a missing person that has taken on international proportions is the case of Sandra Cunningham who was last seen Aug. 12, 1977.

On that day the 30-year-old model left her apartment at 2186 Fifth Ave. and has not been seen or heard from again.

Cunningham was reported to have had many Panamanian friends, including professional boxer Roberto Duran. Panama police are cooperating in the search.

Cunningham is 5-feet-8 and weighs about 130 pounds. She had a very dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair.

When last seen she was wearing jeas [sic], a white blouse, cork-sole shoes and had a thin gold chain around her neck.
