A Santa Ana reserve police officer has been put on leave after posting a youtube video Friday suggesting she wanted to run over cyclists.
In the rambling video, shot in a vehicle, the volunteer officer, Laura Weintraub, can be heard asking the person with her 'How much do I have to pay you to run one of these over?' She also rants about spandex and screams at cyclists to stay in their lane.
Weintraub, along with another officer who posted sarcastic comments, has been put on leave. She posted an apology on FB.
