Here's a map from Greenville to Easley showing the 25-30 minute driving distance. I wonder where in Easley Garrett would usually visit or whether there is a place there that holds some significant meaning to him (e.g., camping site, fishing hole, gravesite, etc.).

My guess is b/c he "may be in need of medical attention" and "may be armed", per GCSO. :(

Missing Persons - Greenville Crime Stoppers

Found some things by family elsewhere online that confirmed mental health crisis :( MOO he may have ended his serious relationship a week or two before his disappearance, and had mentioned wanting to run away to Sante Fe which gives me some hope he may still be alive

Sad news. Easley is home for me and I drive that hwy 123 path everyday to work in Gville. Trying to figure out this area where he was found. If he was suspected to be armed, did he just walk down in the woods and commit suicide?

RIP Garrett.
