A 28-year-old man, already being held without bond in connection with two armed sexual assaults, is now charged with kidnapping and murder, Greenville County deputies say.
Markius Rashad Yeargin is charged in the death Henriette Danielle Crawford, 34, whose burned and decomposed remains were found in a wooded area off South Pleasantburg Drive near Fairmont Avenue in November, deputies say.
Arrest warrants say Yeargin burned the body to try to destroy any evidence.
Yeargin was previously charged in sexual assaults that occurred on Oct. 2 and Oct. 17, according to arrest warrants.
