Jesse Guy, 30, of Dorchester was pronounced dead following a May 28 shooting at Club Leon’s. The coroner’s office said Guy was shot in the back and died from a single gunshot to the torso. Another security guard was also shot and transported to a local hospital.

According to Lt. Shane Roberts with the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office, investigators are finding it difficult to find any witnesses to the shooting.

The two were working as security guards at the nightclub, when they were reportedly shot while trying to quell a disturbance.
