Missing 20-year-old woman found dead in woods near Platt Springs Road

After a three day search, deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department found a missing woman dead in the woods Friday morning.

We opened a missing person case on Kyrstin Blackburn Tuesday morning.

During our efforts to locate her, investigators found her body in a wooded area off Platt Springs Road Friday morning. No arrests have been made in connection to this missing person case.

We’re looking into the circumstances surrounding her death to determine if it was related to a criminal act or natural causes. Much of our work is dependent on results from a pending autopsy the Lexington County Coroner's Office has scheduled for Saturday. #LESM #LCSDnews

Preliminary autopsy results indicates "No Obvious Foul Play" in Lexington woman's death - ABC Columbia

Lexington County Coroner there is no obvious indications of foul play during the preliminary autopsy conducted on the 20-year-old woman who was found dead in a wooded area.

Coroner Margaret Fisher says Blackburn’s death is pending further studies, including toxicology testing.

Despite rumors, no arrests made in case of Lexington woman found dead in woods

Two people rumored to be connected with Blackburn being missing were arrested. But they were arrested on charges unrelated to Blackburn's death or missing person case. Lexington County Sheriff Department says no arrest have been made in connection with Blackburn's missing person case.

But now that Brandi girl is arrested again for attempted murder. Her and a minor stole some property and when the guy came after it she shot him in the back. I seen it on the county sheriff's Facebook page. Are we allowed to link that or no? I don't want to do something wrong
