Identified! SC - Orangeburg Co, Remains found off Cannon Bridge Rd, Aug 2018 - Jason Irick

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after someone found a body at the 1000 block of Cannon Bridge Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Orangeburg County Chief Deputy Coroner Sean Fogle said that the coroner’s office is in custody of the body. An autopsy will be conducted on Friday.

The remains have not yet been identified.

“Due to advanced decomposition, I cannot confirm for certain if this is a male or a female,” Fogle stated.
