New interview with Mark Tinsley

Mark Tinsley made it clear there was NEVER a 10 million dollar life insurance policy that Alex had.

Let that sink in...

New interview with Mark Tinsley

At 16:10 he talks about Steven Smith's mother, 2 PI's and how they broke her IPad, and how it had everything to do with Murdaughs.

I've never heard about this. Does anyone else know what he's talking about?

Mark Tinsley has a cameo in the the Watermelon Festival. I had to go rewatch that part. And yes, you can see him perfectly!

Some of you may have watched the impact statements toward AM but I hadn't. I didn't even know this existed till today.

All I can say is o.m.g!

Tinsley describes Alex Murdaugh as a sociopath. He clearly explains the complex web that Alex spun to stay ahead of his thefts and murders, and explains why Murdaugh chose murder over setting up a payment plan to cover the Mallory Beach wrongful death. It's as though Alex could not give a dollar to anyone for any reason unless he benefited. Paying for a wrongful death was beyond what he could do if it meant that he no longer looked like a big-shot. Alex demonstrated that he and his family use law for personal benefit.

My understanding is this: not long after Steven’s death and his mother Sandy was looking for answers she wasn’t getting, she hired Andy Savage the attorney. He sent 2 investigators to her home to interview her and requested his electronics. She gave them Stevens’s IPad and never saw it again. Long story short Sandy fired Savage for a multitude of reasons and requested the return of the IPad, but was told it was broken.

Edited to add: not sure what the connection is to the Murdaughs’.

"One moment that stuck with me from Hulu’s Murdaugh: Death in the Family is when Paul tells Buster, “I’m getting exactly what I deserve."

"Now, to be clear, those scenes are presumptive portrayals inspired by real life events. We’ll never truly know what was said or what went on inside that family. But this episode offered an interesting window into what might have been happening behind closed doors....."

More evidence against him. I don't remember this in the trial:

Her "aha" moment about his guilt came after his high-profile murder trial began in January 2023, when she saw police body cam footage from the first responding officer at the scene.

In the video, Alex is standing next to his Suburban. Inside the vehicle, Simpson saw a beach towel on the front seat. “I looked at the towel and I said, ‘Oh my God. He did it,’” she tells PEOPLE.

Alex had told police he was sleeping in the main house at Moselle when Maggie and Paul were shot. He said he went to his parents’ house in nearby Varnville to check on father, Randolph Murdaugh, 81, who died three days after the murders.

Alex said that when he returned to Moselle at 10:07 p.m., he found the bodies of his wife and son and called 911.

Earlier on June 7, 2021, Simpson had washed, dried and folded that towel, placing it high on a shelf in the laundry room.

She speculates in the book that Alex hosed himself off near the kennels and either changed there or back at the house.

Alex, she speculates in the book, "went to the laundry room, grabbed the towel to finish drying himself, and possibly took the freshly washed T-shirt hanging there.”

It's a nice thought that the Murdaugh series producers want to put forward ... that Paul was remorseful and recognized that he was getting what he deserved, but why was he on a boat a couple of weeks prior to his murder ... drunk again. If Paul was truly remorseful about his alcohol abuse causing the death of Malory, he would have stopped drinking. He didn't.

Paul was entitled because his grandfather, father and mother always helped him avoid consequences for actions. He wasn't going to feel remorse until he was convicted and sentenced for Malory's death ... and then, that remorse would be limited to his loss of freedom ... in my opinion.

I agree that remorse is a kind speculation about Paul. As for the drinking, it is clear that Paul had a serious problem with alcohol. It is also clear that he needed help, and neither parent helped him. Neither before the boat crash, nor after the boat crash.

Hulu Episode 8, wowzers!

The first ouch! was when on the phones at the prison when Buster ask his dad why he didn't call and have him come home that night....

The second was when Alex said Buster would have been shot too. Oh man that hit the 5he the depth of Buster's soul... 😞
