Rebecca Shores was 21 and pregnant when she went missing in 1989. Her bones were discovered near her home over the next nearly two years.

The in-between remains a mystery.

Shores’ husband, Glenn, told Aiken County police that he last saw his wife, who was four months pregnant, at their Pine Log Road mobile home June 24, 1989, when he left to go to the store. When he returned, she was gone...

The case remains open with no suspects, according to Sgt. Jason Feemster.
