I would rule the first one out on NamUs due to the height. (5’8” to 5’10”)
Second one is closer to Sharon’s reported height of 5’4”.

I thought I'd add it due to there sometimes being mistakes on namus.

DNA , Fingerprints and Dentals are all unavailable, how is it possible to conclude a match?

I came here to also connect the Jane Doe from South Carolina to Sharon. Did anyone submit the suggestion?

Is there's no DNA for Sharon? I think it's important to make sure she has been excluded as this Jane Doe.

Bumping for Sharon...

I have the impression, although with no basis or source, that she was the victim of a racial murder... maybe some guy found her very pretty and she didn't take it into account... and she took revenge for the rejection... I hope she didn't leave children little ones suffering for their mother...
either way
rest in peace

this is an old thread, but researching Sharon is what brought me to join WebSlueths. I really think the this doe might be her. I found a graduate paper online from Sharon’s niece who did a theater piece on her aunt’s disappearance, with her research for it being interviewing her family about what happened.

there were details shared in it that have not been listed anywhere else I can find, most notably that Sharon was struggling with addiction at the time of her disappearance. Her husband (who she was in the process of leaving) also struggling with addiction and used to send Sharon out to get them drugs with no money, per one of Sharon’s family members. She had a phone call with her mom the day she went missing where she told her that she was going to get her life back together and do right by her daughter. According to Sharon’s mom, that phone call ended abruptly with Sharon saying “He’s here, I have to go.” The “He” in question was her husband, apparently.

The Unidentified Wiki mentions that this doe and others are believed to be connected to the same killer. One of which tested positive for cocaine use. I don’t think it’s far fetched to think that whoever killed these women was targeting black women with substance problems. That makes me think even more that this doe might be Sharon. Maybe her husband sent her out to get them something again but she didn’t come back this time.

I submitted to the Doe Network as a match but got an email saying she’s been previously submitted, but she doesn’t show up as an exclusion. I found a YouTube video where someone had submitted Sharon a few years ago for this Doe and got the same response. Not sure if Aiken County is just not testing or what, but not sure where to proceed from here.
