VonCannon was last seen at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina on June 29, 2020. She has never been heard from again. She was homeless and transient at the time of her disappearance and had been known to frequent Laurens County, South Carolina and the west side of Greenville County, South Carolina. Few details are available in her case.

Apparently in 2015 someone with the same name in SC, along with a male partner, lost parental rights to a minor-aged child.

There are also arrest records for someone with the the same name in SC, however I will not use links here since I'm not positive it's the same person.

Dargon checked, and we've approved the links to the info they have located for Stephanie Hope Voncannon. With the full name being pretty distinct, the locations/age/height/weight lining up, it appears they are the same person.

I did an overall search for stephanie on facebook and its crazy how many profiles there actually were, for some reason at first i was only seeing 3-4, but now after looking there are AT LEAST 2 pages of profiles, on one of the last ones she mentions that she kept getting hacked and she was tired of it and calls this person out... is it possible that maybe she was being and someone did something to her? Or maybe if not is it possible that this person knows where she could be? In this facebook post she actually says this person and his people.

Im unsure but it could be at least worth it to see what the timelines of these profiles are as well as if there are any comments that could be helpful.

@PommyMommy To go off of your post i did another search on facebook, Stephanie had a problem with being hacked. I searched overall for any facebooks with that name and theres maybe 5-6 that are someone else but about 30 of them have photos of her and seem to be posts from her, though a few of them had no posts. But it was clear by her posts someone was hacking her profiles which is why she kept making new ones. Also in the 2013 profile you have listed there was a post she made saying shed been hacked again she had a photo showing logged in two different areas. The most i saw as far as how many profiles in one year was 2019 and were nine (Some questionable if it was her since she was being hacked of course)

I am new to this, so just curious, in a case like this where its unclear weather it was voluntary or she chose to leave on her own accord, how do you start searching?

I went over all of the facebooks that I see for her, and it looks like she had kids, so when going over all of the other facebook profiles i found (around 30 starting from 2013, though some are questionable due to her being hacked). I have searched though Namus, as well as doenetwork and i dont see anything so it could be that either she left or they never found her remains.

In one of the photos it looks like she has a tattoo but thats not listed on any of the reports, there really isnt much out there to go on for her sadly..

I haven't had a chance to look through all of these FB accounts but the few I looked at didn't contain much information, just photos. MOO, but based on her previous arrests it's plausible that Stephanie's disappearance could somehow be related to the activities she was arrested for.

From what I have seen she was homeless, on and off possibly, she did have a record, and that and facebook profiles is a lot of what comes up. In this case would something like maybe a FOIL request help to see if there was anything on her case that was not released? I have never done one and im not sure how to go about it as im fairly new to sleuths, but if it would help i will give it a try. Stephanie's case sadly will be four years old before we know it..
