Upstate teacher accused of sexual battery of student facing additional charges

A former teacher at Boiling Springs High School is facing 16 additional charges following his arrest in September.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said it was investigating an alleged teacher-student relationship in September and that Micah Lanford was charged with eight counts of sexual battery of a student.
