Sissy, a miniature schnauzer, sniffed her way 15 blocks to the Cedar Rapids, Iowa hospital where her owner Nancy Franck had been taken. She walked straight in through the sliding doors but couldn't figure out how to open the elevator doors to get up to the right ward. For sure, she'd have found her beloved mom otherwise.
Luckily, she was wearing a tag and security were able to contact the family to collect her. Mercy Medical Center also broke a rule and allowed Sissy to see her mom.
