First post so hope this is okay!

This happened so close to me, a local woman who had a brain injury was dismembered in her own home. Absolutely horrific! Her killer has just been sentenced to life in prison (28 years).

A CONVICTED killer murdered a mum and hacked up her corpse after training to become a butcher.

Andrew Wallace, 42, today admitted slaying Julie Reilly, 47, and dumping her body in bags.

The slaughter in Govan, Glasgow, came after the monster worked on meat counters on his release from jail for knifing another mum to death.

Slain Julie's family tonight begged her murderer to reveal where he stashed the tragic mum’s dismembered body.

That is awful :( poor Julie. I feel terrible for her family too, it must be so heartbreaking not to know where your loved ones remains are.

COPS believe they have found the remains of murdered gran Julie Reilly, her family have confirmed.

Margaret Hanlon, 70, told of her relief after a year long hunt for Julie’s remains ended this morning.

Julie was murdered and dismembered by Andrew Wallace, 42, and only two thigh bones were recovered despite a massive police search.

But after a new search behind flats in Govan, Glasgow yesterday, the lead cop DCI Mark Bell visited the family this morning to tell them the news.

Speaking from her home in Auchinleck, Ayrshire, Margaret said: “We’re over the moon.

“DCI Bell told us they had found remains and he believes it to be Julie.”

I watched the 2nd part of the documentary last night. Her family were so dignified I have so much respect for them. Some people would have criticised the police for not finding Julie sooner - they so close - but all the family showed was their deep gratitude.

I'd guess the perp only admitted where she was as he knew he'd get better treatment in prison if he did.
