Tina Curl will find justice only when Donald Moeller is strapped to a gurney, fighting for his final breath. It's something she needs to see with her own eyes, she said.

Becky O'Connell went to the convenience store to buy candy on May 8, 1990. The following morning, her body was found in a wooded area in Lincoln County, S.D.
An autopsy found Becky had been raped vaginally and anally and died of a cut to the jugular vein of her neck, according to court documents.

Her poor baby girl, what he did to her makes me physically ill. I vacillate on the death penalty but in cases such as this I am certain I support it. I can see why this mother is having a hard time raising funds though, a lot of people are against the death penalty. I hope she raises the money, especially since she feels she needs to do this for Becky, her baby girl. Thanks JBean for bringing this to our attention.

I wish there was even one documentary about this case. Not even ID or Oxygen has covered it. I think how he was convicted based on DNA so early in the game was really interesting and make for a great documentary. At the time, his defense was really trying to challenge the DNA as "junk science" when we know today that it is anything but. Then he got a retrial and appears he was allowed free on bond. Just insane.

Becky died such a brutal death. Imagine how scared she was. This man was an absolute monster with ice cold blood. He should have been put away long before he ever saw that poor girl walking to the store. He had already committed many assaults and had a history of violence including an attempted rape on a boy. Hopefully Donald Moeller is burning in hell. Sounds like he was proud to admit to this before he died.
