The RCPD is currently seeking the public's help to locate 11-year-old Jonathan Black Smith. Police have checked numerous locations since he was discovered missing this afternoon.

He was last seen at around 10:00 p.m. yesterday in the 2500 block of Gnugnuska Dr.

Anyone with any information about his whereabouts should contact police immediately at 605-394-4131.

He's too young to be out there on his own. Hopefully he makes it home (or somewhere safe) quickly.

I find it curious that Jonathan wasn't discovered missing until today's afternoon. Do his parents go to work early in the morning and he wakes up for school by himself? Perhaps the school called the parents to notify that Jonathan missed class?

Can anyone find an update on this boy? I can't find anything beyond this initial mention by the RCPD. An 11 year old girl was reported missing yesterday, from just about a block away from where this boy was last seen.
