A Fullerton, CA family felt a little extra weight while they were out kayaking in Santa Barbara harbor. Dad, who was at the back, turned around to find a sea lion pup had jumped aboard.
To the amazement of the family, and people watching from the shore, the pup stayed around for quite a while - and even appeared to give dad a kiss or two! It eventually rejoined other sea lions in the water though.
