Similar Intruder 2 years later, 2 miles away?

Marcia Clark was a guest on the Megyn Kelly show today and it was brought up that two years later, and two miles away, a 12 year old in her bed was sexually assaulted. The mother interrupted it and the intruder fled out a indow.

The father claims that the Boulder cops totally ignored him asking to check on similarities in the case to Jon Benet.

I searched on google briefly to no avail. Now... .I have a memory that this was dismissed at some point as relevant, a hoax or another perp identified.

Anyone remember this?

It was nine months later, but they're talking about "Amy" who attended the same dance studio as JonBenet. No one has ever been identified for it as far as I know, and the police have never made a public statement on whether they did or didn't believe it was connected to the Ramsey murder.

I'm going exactly off what Megyn Kelly said in the interview, I rewound it twice.

She made it sound like the father of Amy was coming forward yet again saying the Boulder cops ignored him.

I remember reading about this....anyone have a link?

Thank you, yes, I am sure that is the article that Kelly latched on to.

However.....I know I read somwthing long ago that debunked that story pretty strongly. My mind is old and feeble, but it had something to do with someone close to the family being identified, like the wife's boyfriend, something like that.
