And your pilots start it up and forget the basics, your new plane never gets to fly.This folks is a never used, a brand spanking new Airbus 340-600, the largest passenger airplane ever built. It was built for Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi. They took all four engines to max power and ran into a wall. The story going around among flyers is that this story was given a news blackout because it was deemed unflattering to the Abu Dhabi flight crew.

This actually happened before the plane was delivered - it was a ground crew screw up and the ailine got it's money back from Airbus.

Ah thanks, was it airbus people in the cockpit? Seemed odd that it happened in Nov. but we're only now hearing about it. Sad anyway. My brother in law was offered a flight in one of these, he declined but I offered to go in his place. Sadly for me, he declined again.
