1. Wow! Talk about a device with potential for misuse and abuse! No, I'm not saying most women would do any such thing. But taking the (in my mind) feminist view that women are human beings and subject to the same human motivations (noble and petty) as men, I can see such a device being used for purposes other then rape prevention.

2. Do most rapes occur under circumstances where women have time and foreknowledge to arm themselves in advance? If so, wouldn't chastity belts work just as well? They've been around for thousands of years.

3. I'm not a woman. I'm not even a straight male (or OBGYN), so I can't claim extensive knowledge of female biology, but I'd be reluctant to put anything with "teeth" in such a delicate place (even if the device is supposedly designed to protect the wearer).
