we did from Daytona beach this year--- it was FABULOUS-- it was a night launch, you could not believe the sky- we live across the state on the west coast, and you can see it even here, if it is clear out- certainly not near as dramatic- but you can still see it even this far away- just amazing to me

Fantastic launch of the Space Rocket from Cape Canaveral Florida--cloudy here but watched it on Fox News--It was great to watch the accelerating speed at the bottom of the screen,it finally topped off at 17,000 mph!--The slight view of the blue earth was beautiful--Now, how long has that woman astronaut been up there in the Space Station? She wants to come home!

I big yay from our neck of the woods: when the conclusion of this mission has ended safely on a tarmac, it means we are one more mission step to getting up there to service the Hubble Space Telescope.
