Steve Messervie a été vu pour la dernière fois le 6 octobre 2008 à Montréal. M. Messervie souffre d'amnésie. Puisque Steve n'avait pas de carte d'identité, son identité n'a jamais été confirmée. Il a quitté l'hôpital Allen Memorial à Montréal pour prendre une marche, mais n'est pas revenu.
