Frederick, Maryland - On Wednesday March 6, 2010 at approximately 12:04 AM a police officer was stopped for a welfare check in the 400 Block of W South Street Frederick, MD. The police officer located a male lying on the ground who was identified to be Stuart Garrison Brennan. Brennan was already deceased at this time from an apparent gunshot wound. No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified in the Frederick man's death, Frederick Police Department Detective Robert Marker said Friday. The 25-year-old suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest.

This is a very interesting Cold case. I would like to help his mother to find some answers about his murder.

Late last Friday, nine days after Stuart Garrison Brennan completed his latest jail sentence on drug charges, he was shot to death in a Frederick alley.

On Thursday, authorities with the Frederick Police Department said they had established no motive and made no arrests.

Brennan, 25, of Frederick, suffered a gunshot wound to the chest in the 400 block of West South Street.

Defense attorney Norman C. Usiak said his client's death could have been prevented.

Another detailed piece from July 2010 about Stuart. He had four children!

Martha Brennan and Michael D'Ambrosia have never met, but they share a common goal.

The grieving mother in Florida and the inmate at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center both dream of seeing justice done for the same young man.

Stuart Garrison Brennan was found dead March 6 along West South Street in the city nine days after being released from the local jail.

Mother, inmate seek justice for slain man

@mdlohn do you know his mother personally?

I can't find any recent news about the investigation. Anyone?

I do not know his mother or anyone else related to the case. I have checked FB for her. I have also suggested the case be taken up by the Crime Junkie podcast to bring attention to it. I live in Frederick so naturally I would like to research this. I have emailed the Fredrick PD regarding attaining the records but I was told no.

His Attorney is deceased as of 2014, so that is a no go.

Its cold according the FPD. We are not a large city (70,000) so I do not know if we have a Cold case detective available. I am going to look at Crime Stoppers and see if I can go that route.

I posted this to the Maryland Crime Stoppers FB site. Maybe we can gain some traction this way.

I want to know what Stuart was shot with. What caliber? Why was he where he was? According to what I have read he did not live in the area...

I have driven by the address that he was shot at. Questionable area. One can only assume he was trying to score some drugs and it went bad.

I think it sounds like he ran into someone he owed money to, probably trying to score drugs and just getting out of jail he wouldn't have had much money to pay any past debts.
Nothing good happens in a alley :(
