The study, published in the Journal of Pediatric Orethopaedics, found all tibia fractures associated with playing on a slide were sustained while going down the slide on the lap of an adult or older sibling.

Thanks for this. I'll tell my daughters. I always caught my kids as they came down the slide and never went down with them, thank goodness.

I wish the article would of said how the injury occures. What injuries are caused to toddlers sliding alone? Is it worse then a tibia Injury ? Just wondering. I may search up information later. Maybe I missed something.

I was wondering this also. Maybe their leg gets caught between the slide and the adult?
